10x AI Hackathon
Welcome to the event page for the 10X AI Hackathon, presented by the data science team of 10 Downing Street (10DS) in collaboration with Imperial as part of the Evidence House program.
You can find a map of the venue here.
The hackathon will take place on the main campus of Imperial College, with doors opening from around 9am Monday (we will provide a more detailed schedule shortly).
Before you attend, make sure you’re ready to hit the ground running on day 1!
For the duration of the event, use the Imperial-WPA network, using username guest980354 and password TWGkgawJV6dm. Alternatively, you can use _The Cloud.
Key Challenges
How could we use AI to…
- Ministerial Correspondence : Help government and No10 manage and act upon incoming handwritten correspondence
- Emerging Situations and Crises : Help the National Situation Centre react to new and emerging biosafety threats
- Legislation : Write better legislation, with better evidence, that’s better understood
- Communications : Brief the Prime Minister and help us deliver effective and informative communications
- Meetings and Transcription : Understand, digest, summarise and actionise meetings across the civil service
- Manage Major Projects : Measure, manage and deliver major projects
- Grants and awards : Ensure government effectively distributes grants and financial assistance tot hose who need it
- Skills : Make sure the UK economy is ready for the AI led skills revolution
Teams
Each team will be randomly assigned 3 problems, and we’ll be asking you to decide on one to focus your tool on at the end of day 1!
